１他人のことに立ち入って自分の意思に従わせようとすること。「他人の生活に—する」
２国際法で、一国が他国の内政・外交に、その国の意思に反して介入すること。「武力—」
３二つ以上の同じ種類の波が重なって、互いに強め合ったり弱め合ったりする現象。音波でのうなり、光波での干渉色によるシャボン玉の色づく現象など。

【英】：interference of electrons
電子の波動性(波として振舞うこと)によって電子同士が重なって、強め合ったり、弱め合ったりすること。透過電子顕微鏡においては、電子が結晶性の試料に入射すると、試料内のいろいろな原子面によって反射され(ブラッグ反射)、様々な方向に回折波ができる。電顕の像面では、これらがお互いに重なり、位相が合っているところは強めあい、位相が逆さまのところは打ち消しあい縞状あるいは網目状の像を作る。関連する用語ブラッグ反射
