こっ‐かい〔コククワイ〕【国会】
１日本国憲法の定める国の議会。国権の最高機関で、国の唯一の立法機関。衆議院と参議院の両議院で構成され、主権者である全国民を代表する議員で組織される。
２明治憲法下における帝国議会の俗称。
