１悪い事態になりそうな、危険な状態である。また、事態が不安定で、すれすれの状態である。「—・いところで助かる」「質問を—・くかわす」「—・い判断」
２もう少しで卑猥(ひわい)になりかねない。「—・い話」
３はなはだしい。また、過酷である。「和漢の才にとみて、腹あしくよろづに—・き人なりけるが」〈愚管抄・四〉
