ぎゃく【逆】

［名・形動］
１物事の順序・方向などが反対であること。また、そのさま。さかさま。「立場が—になる」「—コース」⇔順。
２論理学で、ある命題の主語と述語を換位して得られる 命題。「pならばqである」に対して「qならばpである」という形式の命題。最初の命題が真でも、逆命題は必ずしも真ではない。
３柔道で、関節技のこと。逆手(ぎゃくて)。
４道理や道徳に反すること。また、そのさま。「朝廷の御為(おんため)には…—に与(くみ)する条理なし」〈染崎延房・近世 紀聞〉
