かい‐やく【解約】
読み方：かいやく

１契約を取り消すこと。「定期預金を—する」
２賃貸借や雇用などの継続的な契約を、当事者の一方の意思表示により、将来に向かって消滅させること。

解約
保険契約者が保険期間中に契約を打ち切ることをいい、将来にむかってのみその効力を生じます。解約は契約者の意思で自由に行えます。保険契約が解約された場合、保険会社はその契約について解約返戻金があれば払い戻しを行います。

解約(かいやく)
契約者が保険会社に申し出て以後の契約の継続を打ち切ること。その時点で契約は消滅する。
解約は契約者の意思で自由に行えるが、書類提出の手続きが必要。
解約した場合、保険会社はその契約について解約返戻金があれば払い戻しを行う。
