かく‐なわ【結＝果】
読み方：かくなわ
《「かくのあわ」の音変化。「かく」は香菓、「あわ」は泡緒(あわお)（ひもの名）の意という》
１昔の菓子の名。小麦粉を練って細長いひもが曲がりくねったような形に作り、油で揚げた唐(から)風のもの。かくのあわ。
２《1がねじれているところから》心があれこれと乱れること。「ゆく水の絶ゆる時なく—に思ひ乱れて」〈古今・雑体〉
３刀やなぎなたを上下左右に振り回すこと。大勢の敵を相手にして勇ましく戦うさまをいう。「蜘蛛手(くもで)、—、十文字、蜻蛉(とんぼ)返へり、水車、八方すかさず斬(き)ったりけり」〈平家・四〉
