[可能]まわれる[用法]まわる・めぐる——「月をめでながら池を回る（巡る）」「名所を回る（巡る）」など、動く、移動するの意では相通じて用いられる。◇「回る」の方が多く使われ、意味の範囲も広い。「車が回る」のように、その物自体が回転する意では「巡る」を使わない。◇「巡る」は文章語的で、「寺の本堂を巡る回廊」のように、取り囲むの意。「規制緩和をめぐる議論」のように、…に関するの意は、「回る」にはない。[下接句]急がば回れ・御鉢(おはち)が回る・気が回る・首が回らない・米の飯とお天道様はどこへ行っても付いて回る・酒が回る・舌が回る・知恵が回る・手が後ろに回る・手が回る・目が回る・焼きが回る・呂律(ろれつ)が回らない
